Merseyside Web Design built the first website for the Griffin Inn way back in 2002.  Since then, we have redesigned the website to it’s current look.  The Griffin Inn website attracts a large number of visitors, through it’s excellent Google ranking (see below with a search for pubs in St Helens) as well as an effective listing on Google’s Local Business Listing, which is a free service available to all local businesses.  The site has paid for itself many times over and is the most common source of bookings for the Griffin’s hotel.  The restaurant menu is also updated on a weekly basis by the chefs themselves.  Overall, the Griffin owners are more than happy to recommend the services of Merseyside Web Design.

The position of a website within the ranking of the search engines is important to many businesses or organisations. Over the years, search engines such as Google, Yahoo or Bing have become more and more sophisticated.

Gone are the days where the appropriate key words on websites were enough to get the site on page one. We at Merseyside Web Design will tailor your site through effective SEO to be as efficient as possible to rank high on the search engines and will also advise on ways to improve your ranking through back links and other methods.

Beware of any company who contacts you and says that they will get you to the top of the search engines as this often will result in you spending money for no reason.  We will guide you through the process of improving your google ranking and explain effective strategies which will drive traffic to your site effectively.

To find out why your ranking is important, check out the video below.
